Projects are a great way of developing independent learning in young people. They help to improve thinking skills as well as motivating them to discover more about topics they may already be interested in.
On the RNLI website there are a wealth of valuable resources and games available for both teachers and young people which will support any work on a variety of projects.
How might a teacher use this?
Each project has been carefully mindmapped to the specific subject area and works as a reference with cross curricular links where appropriate. Accompanying text expands on each project area.
Projects mainly support pupils and teachers of Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students and these will be regularly expanded.
