Exmouth lifeboat station appeal

‘On behalf of the Exmouth lifeboat crew, I am asking for help to fund the construction of a new boathouse for the inshore and all weather lifeboats.’
Tim Mock, Coxswain, Exmouth lifeboat

Faster response to emergencies
Exmouth lifeboat station is one of the busiest in the south west but the current facilities are two temporary buildings for the all weather lifeboat and a 100 year old boathouse for the inshore crew. These buildings are 1km apart. The new location for the lifeboat station will allow the all weather lifeboat to launch 24 hours a day, at all states of the tide. This will mean faster response times as the crew will not need to launch a boarding boat to gain access.
