Bishop Skinner Marine

Independent marine insurance brokers Bishop Skinner Marine have been supporting the RNLI since 1999.  They offer RNLI Offshore members, volunteers and employees discounted marine insurance and also pay 2.5% of the sales to the RNLI - generating a fantastic £252,000 during that time.

The revenue generated has been steadily growing year on year with 2005/6 alone amounting to £58,000.  This money is being put to great use, funding a new booklet and interactive CD-ROM, Sea Safety - The Complete Guide.
 
As an acknowledgement of their significant contribution Bishop Skinner have been honoured with a special corporate supporter’s award.  The award was presented at the Annual Awards Ceremony held at the Barbican in London on Thursday 18 May. HRH Princess Alexandra presented Tim Hall of Bishop Skinner Marine, with a unique bronze by the highly regarded Fife artist Gordon Lochhead.
