About this beach
Harlyn is a wide, sandy bay with a reputation as one of the 'safer' beaches. It is popular with families and surf schools. The beach is backed by low cliffs and characterised by low tide, sand banks and steep high tide shelf which creates a shore break. Access is good with a large beach level car park and a few facilities at hand.
