About this beach
Watergate Bay is a privately owned beach. It is a large, open bay and frequently picks up swell from the Atlantic. The beach is located at the foot of some steep cliffs, and at low tide stretches for over 2 miles. There are several access paths down to the beach, the easiest of which is in front of the hotels in the valley.
