About this station
Celebrating over 200 years as a lifeboat station, Exmouth operates two lifeboats - an all weather Trent class lifeboat and an inshore D class lifeboat. The crews have been presented with 11 awards for gallantry.

Three RNLI relief fleet inshore lifeboats, funded by generous legacies, will be officially named in the Sea Survival Centre at The Lifeboat College in Poole, Dorset, on Tuesday 2 September.

Eight RNLI lifeguards paddled 10 miles on their rescue boards from Whitsand Bay to Looe in Cornwall yesterday to celebrate Lifeguard week and raise money for the Life first campaign.
