Sennen Cove Crew
Coxswain Terry George
Terry joined the Sennen Cove lifeboat crew in 1983 and became coxswain in1990.
Terry receive the RNLI’s bronze medal for the service to the fishing vessel Julian Paul on 6 December 1994 in which Sennen Cove and Penlee lifeboats managed to save the vessel and five lives in severe storm conditions. Penlee’s coxswain Neil Brockman also received a bronze medal for this service.
Terry’s sons Ben and Ollie are also crew members on the station’s ALB & ILB.
2nd Coxswain Philip Shannon
Philip joined the Sennen Cove lifeboat crew in 1968 and became 2nd coxswain in 2000.
Philip has served on four of the stations lifeboats and has been a crew member on two silver medal services during his time on the lifeboat.
Philip’s sons Dan and Jack are also crew members on both ILB & ALB.

Deputy 2nd Coxswain Dan Shannon
Dan joined the Sennen Cove lifeboat crew in 1993.
Dan has been deputy 2nd coxswain on the stations Tyne class lifeboat since 2001 and helmsman on the ILB since 1994.
In 2004, Dan receive a letter of thanks from the RNLI’s director of operations, with crew member Ben George, for jumping into the sea to save a man who had fallen overboard from his yacht in rough seas and darkness.

Mechanic Richard Brown
Richard joined Sennen Cove lifeboat crew in May 2003 as full time mechanic.
He was previously an engineer on the Gry Maritha, the freight supply vessel for the Isles of Scilly.
Head Launcher Brian Andrews
Brian joined Sennen Cove lifeboat crew in 1998.
Brian travelled the world in the merchant navy before settling in Sennen with his wife Susan and son Elliot.
